Some 13 participants outside the DryFiciency consortium including industrial heat pump experts, energy consultants, industry associations and industrial end users attended the second External Experts Advisory Board (EEAB) Business Development workshop in Salzburg.  The workshop was held ahead of the 1st Demonstration Event of the DryFiciency High Temperature Heat Pump System installed at the brick factory of Wienerberger in Uttendorf, Austria. The aim of theworkshop was to better understand economic parameters, hurdles and opportunities for HTHP systems. The EEAB members presented their latest findings from their perspectives resulting in active group discussions. The workshop addressed the potential applications of HTHP in respective product portfolios, potential gaps and the special requirements from industry in bringing new technologies to the market. Additional meetings will be held including a final workshop in Brussels.
