From October 22nd to 23th 2019 the European heat pump world met in Nuremberg at the European Heat Pump Summit to discuss the heat pump market, its latest technology and application trends. The Heat Pump Summit is a well-known platform for information exchange for heat pump and component manufacturers, experts from science, research and development, as well as for planners, energy consultants, plant assemblers, and operators of local authority, commercial and industrial property.
Several partners of the DryFiciency consortium including representatives from AIT, Bitzer, Chemours and EHPA were present. Veronika Wilk (AIT), the scientific coordinator of DryFiciency, has given a presentation on the project focussing on the development work and innovative aspects of the closed loop heat pump technology on component and system level. Besides, she has provided the audience with the environmental and economic benefits of this new heat pump technology.
In addition, product presentation at the Foyer-Expo supplemented the variety of information provided by the speakers. Interested visitors were informed about the DryFiciency project at both the AIT and the EHPA booths.
