Event report: European Heat Pump Summit 2019 powered by Chillventa

From October 22nd to 23th 2019 the European heat pump world met in Nuremberg at the European Heat Pump Summit to discuss the heat pump market, its latest technology and application trends. In addition, product presentation at the Foyer-Expo supplemented the variety of information provided by the speakers.

The European Sustainable Energy Week 2018 took place in Brussels between 4 – 7 June 2018. The European Heat Pump Association, a partner of DryFiciency project, participated or co-organized several activities where DryFiciency was involved.

DecarbCities forum addressed the challenge of fast-growing cities and their energy demands. DryFiciency project participated with a poster of Agrana’s drying unit which was part of a poster exhibition presenting large heat pump applications in Europe.

The conference focusing on natural refrigerants was held between 17 – 20 of June 2018 in Valencia, Spain.

Gustav Lorentzen Conference is important conference attracting an international audience with an interest in natural working fluids, including system owners, operators and end users, academic researchers, policy makers, contractors, manufactures of components and many other stakeholders. The conference is therefore not only an opportunity to present the findings in front of the relevant audience, but also a meeting place where all the specialists can share their views and knowledge to each other. This year, the conference was held from June 18 to 20, 2018 at the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain.

On 16th of May, the Decarb cities forum took place in MuseumsQuartier in Vienna to address the trend of increasing share of human population living in cities and to discuss no-pollution solutions.

Decarbheat2017 brought together many stakeholders with a shared vision of carbon-free future. Sector commitment is present and strong but will it actually make it happen? Electrification, district heating, and industrial processes are set as priorities for action, while energy efficiency, heat pumps and greater share of renewables were deemed as the remedy.
